Official "Mölndal Hockey" song!

Monophi has written and recorded the official song for the swedish hockey team "Mölndal Hockey". The song will be released on the 13th November 2010 and we'll exclusively play it live at the opening of Åby ishall - the home arena of Mölndal Hockey - that day.

Thank's to Stefan at Studio Lane here in Gothenburg for helping us out with the recording and to Bjarne at Mölndal Hockey for the great cooperation.

New show announced!
We're planning an acoustic show togheter with our friends in the band Ferguson this fall. The show will take place on the venue "Mitt andra hem" the 20th of October here in Gothenburg.

Det är med glädje vi kan meddela att vi kammade hem segern i Opening Act-röstningen och därmed får spela förband till Erik Hassle ikväll på foajébaren, stadsteatern, här i Göteborg.

Monophi vill rikta ett särskilt tack till alla som lade sina surt undansparade kronor på sms-röster.

Samarbete med UpSweden

Vi vill med stolthet meddela att vi sedan årsskiftet är en UpSweden-akt. UpSweden är en organisation som kommer hjälpa oss med promotion m.m. Detta innebär även att vi numera repar och utgår från Brewhouse, Gårda. Det är så att säga Monophi-HQ :) Vi hoppas att samarbetet med UpSweden kommer hjälpa oss att nå ut ännu mer och vill framförallt tacka Hugh som tagit oss ombord på skutan!

Monophi vidare till semi i Emergenza!

Efter en hård batalj på musikens hus, majorna, lyckades vi roffa åt oss tredje-platsen av totalt elva band i första deltävlingen. Vi tackar givetvis alla monofiler (våra hängivna fans) för deras röstande och hälsar er varmt välkomna tillbaka då vi lirar i semin på Sticky Fingers Top Floor i april.

I övrigt så är det mycket på G med bandet. Går in i studion någon gång innan vinter blir vår.
Vi har mycket nytt material och behöver helt klart nya inspelningar. På scenfronten så kommer vi att lira på såväl Henriksberg Ballroom och Malt & Humle i Kungälv, för att inte tala om Snuss-stock festival i Stenungsund i sommar.
